The zoo... on a hill.

We rode on the train... Logan wasn't sure what to think of that so he just held on tight to mom.
So... within 2 hours of being at the zoo, Logan had a poopy blowout and I didn't pack an extra outfit. Did you know that the zoo doesn't sell little boy pants... you can buy the whole outfit but not just the pants. We kept his minky blanky wrapped around his little legs but this is how he was the entire day:)
Dad and Isaac watching the elephant. I love this picture of these two!

Friday, May 8th, we decided to take Isaac and Logan to the zoo. So it's been like 17 years since I've been to the zoo... and apparently its built on a hill. We had a great time though. Logan was a good boy and Isaac had a blast.

Mother's day

Yesterday was mother's day. I just want to share with you my feelings about being a mom. I think I'm the luckiest person alive to have such sweet wonderful boys. It is so rewarding to be able to comfort them when they are crying and to have my cute little 2 month look at me and grin great big with his cute dimples. Nothing is more special than my 2 year old son leaning into my ear and whispering "I lus you, mom." I love my job of being a mom... It is one of the 2 best things I have done in my life... The other was marrying my sweet husband.

The Bumbo...

Today we went to find a Bumbo... I wanted one of these when we had Isaac but never got around to getting one. So me and my boys ventured out on a journey to find one. Of course Walmart was out so we traveled to Target. Isaac was pretty excited... He keeps saying "I like the bumbo." Here are some cute pics of Logan in them... We are still a little young. He's having trouble keeping his head up. But check out those dimples!!!!

Long time...

we made sugar cookies and Isaac and dad loved licking the beaters

we also died and colored easter eggs.

It's been a long time since I've had any time to post... I don't even have much time today. But I wanted to share some easter pics of my cute boys. For Easter, we went to Eric's parents home. They had awesome chicken that they put in their oil-less fryer. It was delicious. Marilyn had a cute little egg hunt for Isaac, Copeland, and Logan... Even though the last 2 had more help from their parents finding the eggs :) We had a great time...

So Sick!

Logan is 6 weeks old now and has his 1st illness. It's been a lot of fun :) It started on Sunday when we were at my parents house for conference. My dad was holding Logan and said "I think he sounds a little congested." I told him that he usually sounds like that and continued with the day. On our way home I started to worry about it. You see, I'm terrified of him getting RSV. As the night progressed, he started to sound like he was drowning in his own snot. At 1 in the morning Eric and I decided that we needed to get him in to Wee Care. So I left my warm house and traveled to Layton so he could be seen by a doctor. He just told me it was a cold and gave us some saline for the nose. As the night turned to day, his snot started to become FLOURESCENT yellow~! YIKES. I didn't know what to do... So my sweet mother came down to help me. We took him back to the instacare and there they discovered he has an ear infection in both ears. We got some antibiotics and he has turned around. He still sounds a little congested but not like it was. I don't know what I would have done without my mom... She was a HUGE help and things are starting to look up.

Sleep, baby, sleep!!!!

I start teaching again this week. I'm doing make-up group lessons and also I get to go back up to Weber to teach. So I thought this would be a good week to let Logan fall asleep in his cradle. The sweet little guy thinks that he can't go to sleep unless he has been rocked for a good 20 minutes in our arms. (And they say you can't spoil a newborn!) So being a new week... I fed him, changed his diaper, and waited until his eyes started to get droopy. Then I went and placed him gently in his cradle. He started to grunt and has been screaming for the last hour. He will settle down and then remember why he was upset to begin with. I walked upstairs just about 15 minutes ago and he had finally gone to the sleepy land.

Special Day.

I haven't posted for a while. I've been pretty busy. Anyway... yesterday was Logan's baby blessing. It was a neat day for us. Our church is at 9 in the morning so it was hard to get everything ready before we left. And can I say that getting 2 boys ready for church is a whole other ball game. I had to start at 6 AM. Eric gave a beautiful blessing. After the meeting we all headed back in the HUGE snow storm and got ready for our brunch. We had a breakfast quiche and lots of other yummy breakfast goodness. Logan was an angel the whole day. He slept while he was passed around to our family to hold.Isaac even got to play with Karter. It was a perfect day!
Here is Logan wearing his blessing outfit and Isaac peeking around to see his sleeping baby brother.
